Waitresses are rude, impolite with customers. Too much attitude. The Chunky owner loves himself, God if he could stand on stage all night he would. Atmosphere is horrible, for a fun evening try Bourbon Street West. Great crowd and management.

I’m with you on this one George. I’m not a big fan of Moomba either. I attended the Michael Jackson tribute over the weekend and noticed they had renovated the place (shows how often I go!). The people were just as snobby as ever, but that’s to be expected from clubs in Montreal in general. Mind you, the MJ tribute show was worthwhile to attend.

Bourbon Street West is definitely a more friendlier place (not to mention more mature) but it’s not exactly a club, so you can’t compare the two side-by-side.

Moomba is so awesome. I have been there 5 times in the last 2 years. I love the atmosphere, the music, the lounge. I have never ate there though. Friends and I usually go eat at Elixor nearby and then we go to Moomba. I will try the food there the next time I am there. I visit Montreal quite regularly throughout the year. More than 7 times a year.
