Trestman named CFL coach of the year
As expected, Trestman, the Alouettes’ head coach, was named the league’s coach of the year for 2009 and presented with the Annis Stukus Trophy on Friday, as the CFL’s annual three-day Congress concluded at Edmonton. The voting was conducted by the Football Reporters of Canada, although no breakdown of Trestman’s margin of victory was provided.
