Ducks Unlimited wades into conservation of Île St. Bernard

For years Chateauguay residents have been fighting to preserve 1,000-hectare strip of forest between the south shore communities of Chateauguay and Lery. On Friday, Ducks Unlimited is expected to join federal and provincial environment ministers in announcing a deal to protect 213 hectares of that forest, on Ile St. Bernard.
