Drinks, laughs and food trucks… helloooo Just for Laughs Festival!
Yup! I said food trucks! As soon as I walked into the festival area and saw the different trucks, I started texting people with excitement telling them to get to the Quartier des Spectacles. People had gotten creative and had transformed old trailors into food trucks, going as far as having a grill in the back of an old limo.
We just had to try the lobster wrap from Marché 27 (http://marche27.com/) which was delicious and the HUGE hot dog from Hot Bulldog Palace (http://www.hotbulldogpalace.com/) which wasn’t as good as it looked.

Right after the food trucks area were the stages where the outside comedy shows were scheduled. Again, people were there in great numbers.
Some local francophone comedians that I got the chance to listen to were Neev http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vJ2maDChLk&feature=related , Adib Alkhalidey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTer7tRNn58 and Francois Bellefeuille http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXCSOCwuJyE . All three were hilarious!
Over 400 comedians were scheduled during the three weeks duration of the festival. I can’t name them all but just to name a few… Bob Saget, Howie Mandel, Joel McHale, Mario Cantone, Stephane Rousseau, Claudine Mercier… you get the point… DON’T MISS IT NEXT YEAR!
