Threepenny Opera really sings
There’s nothing like a good cat fight between two beautiful women to stir up the second act of a musical. Bertolt Brecht certainly knew what he was doing when he pitted Polly Peachum against Lucy Brown in his L’Opera de Quat’Sous (The Threepenny Opera), which has just been revived and reinvented for Theatre du Nouveau Monde.
